Author, educator, and evangelist, Oral Roberts has written more than 120 books. Founder and Chancellor of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he has spent his life ministering to the needs of the whole person through the message that God still heals today, body, mind, and spirit. Since ORU's inception in 1965, Oral Roberts has raised up generations of students to "go where God's light is seen dim, His voice is heard small, and His healing power is not known, even to the uttermost bonds of the earth."
Jesus Christ did not come with a life-shortening suggestion but with a life-saving power. His highest wish is for us to prosper and have health in both soul and body. He said, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosperth (3 John 2).
The story of Jesus is the story of deliverance. In the power of His pure and healthy being and in the strength of an undivided personality, the Master of men came into this world to bring release to man from his fears and frustrations, from his spiritual, physical, and mental illnesses, and to make him a whole man.

Instead of looking down, you'll start looking up - where the horizon is brighter. You'll see things differently than you do now, and you'll understand things you never have before. Stephen was about to be bound and carried through the streets of Jerusalem and stoned for his faith, but the Holy Spirit gave him a glorious vision. The Bible says that he "being full of the Holy Ghost, looked steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God" (Acts 7:55). To get a new perspective, follow the advice of Paul in Colossians 3:2: "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." |
Little Gracie was found abandoned in an Ethiopian field with a rope around her neck. The miracle that she survived is extraordinary. What has happened since is an even greater testimony to God's miracle-working power!
Grace Francis Lydia Johnson was adopted in May of 2005 by Tom and Dawn Johnson, faithful Benny Hinn Ministries crusade volunteers. Eleven days later, the Johnsons from Wisconsin headed for the Detroit crusade. During the eventful days between, blood tests revealed abnormal liver enzymes, over ten times the normal range. The baby was diagnosed with hepatitis B and E antigen positive.
"We were told by our doctor that Gracie had over a 95 percent chance of having chronic liver problems for the rest of her life," Tom shares. "We had wondered if we should travel to Detroit to help with the crusade so soon after Grace arrived, but it became clearer why we needed to go."
